在NFL08Superstar模式下如果使用自定义球员的话，初始点数是比较有限的。如果想尝试使用满能力球员可以使用一下方法。当然此方法对老玩家来说是比较简单的，而且可能有玩家已经知道使用方法了，请大家不要对我嗤之以鼻，我只是希望能让更多人尽快地体验NFL的快感并且喜欢上这款游戏。
首先，进入开始界面后选择FEATURES下的ROSTERS进入编辑界面，然后点下方的PLAYERMANAGEMENT进入球员编辑。
在TEAM选项中选ALL，在POSITION选项中选择你想要使用的位置或选择ALL(因为在修改中一名球员的适用位置是有限的，所以如果你有比较喜欢的位置的话请在此选择，如QB或WR等，如果没有特别要求则选ALL)。然后双击下面球员显示框中的球员年龄(AGE),按照年龄降序排列。
在球员中进行编辑对象的选择，因为在这个模式中是不能修改球员的头像、年龄、毕业大学和所属球队等属性的，所以建议挑一个长相比较顺眼的，而球队可以在合同到期或转会期时进行转会。但是注意必须是NFL现役球队的队员，不能是经典队或明星队的。尤其要注意选择的球员必须在个人信息中显示是ROOKIE的，即新秀球员的对象进行编辑，至于身高什么的不要管，是可以调整的。
选择球员后点上方的EDIT PLAYER进入编辑模式。第一项是名字等个人信息，第二项的身高体重和号码等建议认真修改，第三项为外形的类型，建议肌肉多点，不然会很难看，第四项是装备，这个可以在游戏中改，所以无所谓。最重要的是最后一项的能力调整，可以随意把所有项目改为99，也可以单独修改。
保存当前的ROSTER存档，回到主菜单，选择NFL Superstar模式下的使用07'CLASS新秀的那一项(第二项)，开始游戏。
声明，此方法可以在初期就不用为训练头疼并尽早体验当超人的快感，但是会失去培养过程的乐趣。同时如果在正式比赛期间过多地模拟比赛和训练，会导致球员表现能力都下降，所以请尽量多打比赛，毕竟已经省了很多训练的功夫。同时建议菜鸟们在熟悉了游戏之后还是重新开档使用自定义模式进行游戏，虽然人物不那么变态了，但是会更好地体会到这个模式的乐趣和精髓。
